Clarizen provides a fully comprehensive task management platform with additional features for communication across your entire enterprise. Limited access users can be added for a lower cost (see pricing details below), and client-facing management is a breeze. We were not impressed with the confusion that comes with customizing reporting, versions, and user licenses. Clarizen needs to completely re-design their mobile applications.
As with any enterprise-level task management solution, the onboarding process for Clarizen is no small task, and honestly, we were quite frustrated by the end of our testing with this platform. Be prepared to utilize the very helpful staff for training sessions.
The reporting options for this application stood out to us. They have a clear method for tracking expenses, resource allocation, task progress, and they even offer customizable data reporting. Clarizen’s clients unanimously confirmed that Clarizen helped them improve communication and avoided repeating the same task.
This tool has grown to essentially be an enterprise-only solution, and is not optimally priced or organized for smaller teams who prefer a more user-based approach such as ClickUp or Asana.

All the tools are there, but terrible design for the extreme cost
Clarizen is actually a decent tool that offers a full set of features. If you take the time and actually go through their documentation youll notice theres more than meets the eye. Anything not directly within clarizen itself can be fixed with a simple API hookup. All good things come at a cost!
Decent for large companies because they are the only ones who can afford them.
It seems that Clarizen can only work if you meet their needs!! NOT what a platform should be. Their UI is quite outdated in my opinion and gives me a Windows ME feel…..
Useful but can be very complicated

We are a start up and Clarizen did not make sense for us for multiple reasons. Price was way too high, design wasn’t what we needed, and it was full of too many features we didn’t need. Not a terrible product but not for us.
We have been using this tool from the start which has kept our team in line. I would highly recommend Clarizen for any beginners in the PM world
My issue with clarizen is mostly related to pricing. They simply offer the same customizable options that you can find with any software while charging a deluxe rate.
Clarizen is extremely powerful and offers Enterprise-grade security for a reasonable price, however, new tools are surfacing which offer similar features at a fraction of the cost.
It is easy to enter projects and tasks into Clarizen once you’ve gotten the hang of it (theres a bit of a learning curve). The email alerts are a nice remember when something is due and is great tool for managing multiple projects and resources. The reports could be a bit easier to customize by adding the ability for more custom fields. The biggest downside in my opinion is it is so slow to load.
We’ve been using Clarizen for about a year now and it’s been great for collaboration. Unfortunately the software is pretty pricey.
We weren’t using a tool before trying Clarizen out, it definitely has improved our business processes and communication.
Clarizen has a ton of features and customizability, however, it can become really confusing and it can take forever to get your whole team on board
Help to gain visibility into your projects
Very good value for money and excellent product for medium to small enterprises. Easy to configure and easy to use product. Onboarding process was so easy! Slow load times is a huge problem within the solution.
We use Clarizen for project portfolio management and for IT request intake and prioritization for all of our systems.
