The application’s extremely intuitive interface makes creating new projects and assigning tasks effortless. The built-in team calendar is excellent for getting a high-level overview of your to-do list and brings transparency to the whole team. HiTask offers important features like selective sharing permissions, time tracking, and real time notifications. Unfortunately, we found the solution to be missing a lot of advanced features that come with most project management tools such as progress reports, gantt charts, and a Kanban board view for agile teams. Therefore, this software can be seen as a combination of Trello and Basecamp due to the ease of use and basic to-do list functionality.
HiTask prides themselves on being such a simple tool that no training or documentation is needed. I tested this myself and found this to be 100% accurate. The onboarding process was seamless, and we were actively using the software within minutes thanks to it’s instinctive dashboard.
We love the fact that this solution has comprehensive tag filtering making it easy to sort and locate tasks by priority, due date, color, tag, and user. Another impressive feature they offer is the ability to work without internet access. Simply select the offline work mode and continue working on your tasks, once you’re connected to internet your updates will automatically sync onto the dashboard. The Outlook and Google Calendar integration is also a major plus for teams looking to view their calendar and tasks that have defined due dates in one place.
This solution would be great for small teams with smaller projects as the software has trouble handling a lot of data and can freeze up from time to time. Scaling could be a major concern here. That being said, I recommend HiTask if you are looking to increase communication across departments, improve organization, and want a simple to-do list layout with no learning curve.

This solution is fantastic for my team to have a joint to-do list. It’s a shame that it doesn’t show notifications on the mobile app.
Hitask’s tool allows you to see the bigger picture about the tasks that you’re working on. It’s more easy to flip between projects, over other products, and look at specific spans of time. Items are easily tagged and managed.

Tag filtering is great! The Google Calendar integration is one of my favorites. I really wish they had Gantt Charts and reporting of some sort though.
Not a fan of the software. We used for about 2 months and are having to switch
A lot of Product Managers or Product Strategist do end up using Hitask for planning and moving product schedules you don’t need additional parameters from other tools. However, we really need more integrations.
